Tijerina & Sons is a family-owned importer and distributor of fresh Mexican peppers and tomatillos, with U.S. operations in McAllen, Texas. This notice explains how we handle information shared through this website.

When you send a quote request, we collect the details you enter: full name, company, business email, phone (optional), destination country, state and city, buyer type, products of interest, estimated volume, frequency, packaging or specifications, timing, inquiry reason and any notes.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in a produce inquiry.

To understand how buyers find us, a request also records the page where your visit started, the previous page on this site, the product page you came from and standard campaign tags (UTM parameters) when present. To prevent spam and repeated submissions, we store a one-way coded value derived from your network address and browser type; we do not store the address itself.

During your visit, your browser temporarily keeps your first landing page, campaign tags and the reference number of a submitted request so the confirmation page can display it. This session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab. We do not use advertising cookies.

The site is prepared to count anonymous actions such as product page views, quote form steps and clicks on email or phone links. These counts never include names, emails, phone numbers or message contents. Measurement only runs if you have agreed to nonessential tracking and a measurement tool is enabled; neither is active by default.

We use quote request information to respond to you, discuss availability and next steps, and manage our commercial relationship. Requests are stored in a private database accessible only to our authorized team and are sent to our sales team by email. We rely on service providers for website hosting, data storage and email delivery. We do not sell your information.

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond to your request and manage our business relationship. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

Our Instagram link opens a third-party service. Your use of that service is subject to its own privacy practices.
